L. Lothaire Bluth, M.D.

Dr. Lothaire Bluth is a board certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care including cataract and eyelid surgery. He is the founder of Southwestern Eye Center. Through his vision and dedication, Southwestern Eye Center has become one of Arizona's largest ophthalmology practices serving patients in many communities throughout the states of Arizona and California.

Dr. Bluth completed his medical degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson and his ophthalmology residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California in Los Angeles.

Professional memberships include the American Ophthalmological Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery . He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Bluth is licensed in Arizona and California.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in a small town in Mexico, Dr. Bluth speaks Spanish fluently. Dr. Bluth frequently organizes and participates in humanitarian eye surgery trips to other countries. Dr. Bluth and his wife, Connie, are the parents of seven children.
