Dr. Farber graduated in 1974 from Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his internship at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, and his ophthalmology residency and fellowship at Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
Dr. Farber practiced medical retina and general ophthalmology in his home town Reading, Pennsylvania, for 21 years before moving to Arizona.
Dr. Farber is licensed in Arizona and Pennsylvania. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, along with many other professional memberships.
Dr. Farber and his wife reside in Yuma. He is active in water sports, cooking, guitar and enjoys theater.
