Joseph Faust, M.D.
Dr. Joseph Faust graduated cum laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. His internship was at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, and he completed his Ophthalmology residency training at Indiana University. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Faust has trained over 100 eye doctors and he was an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Indiana University. He was appointed by two governors of the state of Indiana to act as chairman of a committee serving the citizens of Indiana to monitor the medical education and medical privileges of eye doctors there.
Dr. Faust has performed some 20,000 state-of-the-art cataract surgeries and 15,000 LASIK surgeries as well as thousands of glaucoma and retinal laser surgeries.
Dr. Faust resides in Yuma and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
