Ali Ghafouri, M.D., FACS
Dr. Ghafouri specializes in ophthalmic facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
As an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Ghafouri has extensive experience and expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid, orbital and tear drainage surgery. He has a special interest in minimally invasive aesthetic facial procedures including cosmetic eyelid lift, endoscopic forehead, and mid-face lift, Botox injections and dermal fillers.
Dr. Ghafouri received his undergraduate and medical education at Michigan State University with high honors. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Cornell University College of Medicine-North Shore University Hospital. He did a fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Cullen Eye Institute-Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Ghafouri is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic surgery; American college of Surgeons; American Academy of Ophthalmology; American academy of Cosmetic Surgery; and Phoenix Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Ghafouri's family resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona. In his free time, he enjoys, traveling, hiking, playing soccer and basketball.
