Aaron M. Petersen, M.D.
Dr. Aaron Petersen practices general ophthalmology and performs cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants.
Dr. Petersen received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, then completed medical school at the University of Arizona. After an internship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, he moved to Charleston, South Carolina for a residency in ophthalmology at the Storm Eye Institute of the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Petersen was raised in Gilbert, Arizona. He and his wife, Melissa, are the parents of three sons and two daughters. He spends his free time with them and also enjoys history, sports and music. Dr. Petersen is fluent in Spanish.
