David P. Sutton, M.D.
Dr. David Sutton is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of common eye conditions, including cataract and lens implant surgery, and laser treatment of glaucoma and diabetes.
Dr. Sutton came to Arizona from Minnesota, where he performed over 6000 eye procedures.
After attending undergraduate college at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Dr. Sutton attended medical school at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Dr. Sutton did his rotating medical and surgical internship at the Mercy Scripps Hospital in San Diego, California. He went on to complete his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Dr. Sutton is Board Certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is licensed in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Dr. Sutton has two daughters and one son. His many interests include photography, music, hiking, skiing, biking, and traveling. Dr. Sutton is fluent in Spanish, German, French, Chinese and Russian. He helped teach Cataract & Small Incision Foldable Lens Implant Surgery in China.
