After an internship at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Boyer was Chief Resident and was awarded a certificate from Michigan State University for his accomplishments during residency.
Phillip D. Boyer is licensed in Arizona and Michigan. He maintains membership in the major medical and ophthalmology organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and American Osteopathic Association.
An Arizona native, Dr. Boyer was born and raised in Sierra Vista. He and his wife, Tracy, are the parents of three daughters. Dr. Boyer loves to spend his free time with his family. His interests also include the outdoors, photography, and classic automobiles.
