Phillip D. Boyer, D.O.
Dr. Phillip Boyer is a highly skilled ophthalmologist who practices medical and surgical ophthalmology. The focus of Dr. Boyer’s practice is advanced cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants (IOLs).
Dr. Boyer obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. He then completed medical school at Des Moines University. After an internship at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Boyer was Chief Resident his final year, and was awarded a certificate from Michigan State University for his accomplishments during residency.
Dr. Boyer is licensed in Arizona. He maintains memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic Association.
An Arizona native, Dr. Boyer was born and raised in Sierra Vista. He and his wife, Tracy, are the parents of four children. Dr. Boyer loves to spend his free time with his family. His interests also include the outdoors, photography and classic automobiles.
