Roger B. Ethington, O.D.
Roger B. Ethington, O.D., serves as Director of Professional Services and supervises all of Southwestern Eye Center's doctors. He provides general optometric services, including contact lenses, prescribing glasses and pre- and post-surgical care.
Dr. Ethington is a second generation Chandler, Arizona native, and related to the Ethington's who pioneered the Casa Grande area. He attended Arizona State University and Pacific University, earning his Bachelors and Doctor of Optometry degrees.
In 1983, he completed training in Hospital Based Optometry at Barnes Veteran Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. Upon completing his internship, Dr. Ethington began private practice Optometry in Coolidge, Arizona, expanding to Casa Grande three years later.
Dr. Ethington and his wife Judy have four children and reside near Chandler. He is active in community and civic affairs, including the Boy Scouts of America. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing farmer on his "mini" farm. He also collects, builds and restores classic vehicles.
