J. Kevin Quaranta, O.D.

Dr. Quaranta is an optometric physician who monitors and treats eye disorders and also prescribes vision correction. He began his eye care career in the early 1980Ős, working as an optician in Chicago, where he grew up.

Dr. Quaranta received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University in 1992 and his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1996. He completed his externships in corneal disease at the Hermann Hospital Eye Clinic in Houston, Texas and in primary eye care at Luke Air Force Base Hospital in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease and is licensed by the Arizona Board of Optometry. He is a member of the American and Arizona Optometric Associations. His areas of special clinical interest include the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, monitoring diabetic retinopathy, and treating the moderate to severe dry eye patient.

Dr. Quaranta and his wife, Tiffany, live in Chandler and have four daughters. He enjoys playing guitar, scuba diving, sports, and being involved in the local community.
