John Kircher, M.D.
John Kircher, M.D. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and highly experienced military anterior segment surgeon. Dr. Kircher graduated with honors in Chemical Engineering from the US Military Academy in West Point, NY, and then obtained his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Kircher remained in the Washington DC area after medical school to complete his internship and residency in Ophthalmology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Kircher serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX and is a Major in the US Army. He is certified as a teaching fellow at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Dr. Kircher is an avid golfer who played golf on the West Point golf team. He’s completed two marathons (Baltimore and Philadelphia) and also is a Black Belt in Karate. Dr. Kircher enjoys woodworking and has three hilarious daughters.
