Shane Sanders, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Shane Sanders provides comprehensive optometric care with emphasis on diagnosis, the treatment and management of ocular disease, and also has experience in pre and post-operative care. Dr. Sanders’ builds patient relationships by providing a high quality of care and comforting bed-side manner.
Dr. Sanders is from Prescott, Arizona and received a double-major Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. He then received his Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Sanders completed disease-focused externships at M&M Eye Institute and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He has experience teaching current fourth-year students at the M&M Eye Institute externship site, and was the president of the student chapter of the American Academy of Optometry at MCPHS University for 2 years.
Dr. Sanders and his wife, Bailie, have a son and reside in Prescott, Arizona. They all enjoy an outdoor adventure as much as relaxing at home with a good show. Dr. Sanders also enjoys playing and watching ice hockey, riding his motorcycle, and boxing as a workout.
