Dr. James Cole is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing exclusively in cataract surgery. He focuses on advanced surgical techniques, including refractive cataract surgery with Light Adjustable Lenses, Multifocal lenses, astigmatism correction, and Femtosecond lasers. Additionally, he is skilled in iDose TR and MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) and uses ORA intraoperative measurements to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.

Education and Medical Training

Dr. Cole earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He completed his residency at Boston University Medical Center and his fellowship training at Baylor University in Houston, TX.

Raised on a farm, he brings a grounded, humble approach to his practice and deeply appreciates the trust placed in him by the many patients he has cared for over the years. Despite an increasingly busy schedule, he remains committed to providing exceptional care—one patient at a time.
