Clinical Expertise

Dr. Andrew Wallmann grew up in both Seattle, WA and St. George, UT. Growing up as an Eagle Scout, he gained an appreciation for the outdoors and a knack for hard work. Dr. Wallmann is an ophthalmologist at our Yuma eye center and specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery.

Education and Medical Training

He earned his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University where he studied neuroscience and graduated magna cum laude. He then went to medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

Accolades

Dr. Wallmann completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch where he was awarded the Silver Scalpel- an award given to the resident with the greatest surgical skill.

Personal Interests

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, cycling, camping, reading, and watching sports.
