Sunil P. Deokule, M.D.

Dr. Deokule received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College in Baroda, India.  He has double glaucoma fellowship training and comes with extensive experience in managing complex glaucoma and cataract surgery.  His previous experience includes glaucoma in private practice in Tucson and as a glaucoma specialist and Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky, Lexington and VA hospital. He comes with excellent basic science and clinical research experience having authored several publications in prestigious medical journals. He also has vast international experience having practiced Ophthalmology in the United Kingdom for 9 years and New Zealand for nearly 3 years.

Dr. Deokule is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.  He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.

He and his wife Priya are parents to four beautiful daughters.  In his free time, Dr. Deokule enjoys hiking, badminton and cricket.
