Education and Medical Training
Dr. Petracca earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Montana State University before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University. He then fulfilled his residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Accolades
Dr. Brian Petracca has diverse experience in both hospital and private practice settings. He served as a staff optometrist at a rural hospital on the Navajo Reservation for three years and later worked in Idaho in private practice. He also held a managerial position at the Nez Perce (Nimiipuu) Healthcare Facility.

Originally from Aztec, New Mexico, Brian enjoys traveling, hiking, and learning about different cultures. Most of all, he values time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Savannah and Naomi, as they actively engage in their community.
