Clinical Expertise
Dr. Jetal Patel is an optometrist that provides comprehensive eye care. She is residency trained in ocular pathology with an emphasis in the treatment and management of ocular diseases, pre and post surgical care.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Patel received her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona, and obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree at University of Missouri. Externship experience includes a rotation at the Harry Truman Memorial Veteran’s Hospital and the Optometric Low Vision Clinic in St. Louis. She completed her residency training at Northeastern State University where she gained experience at the Hastings Indian Health Hospital. Professional experience include ocular surgery co-management, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, ocular trauma and primary care optometry.
Accolades
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association and a past member of the Oklahoma, Texas, and Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. She volunteers through VOSH to provide free eye care in developing countries and offers vision screenings and eye health lectures at local schools.
