Dr. Zachary Green is an experienced optometrist serving patients in Arizona, providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on ocular disease and vision preservation. He diagnoses and manages conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and a range of anterior segment diseases. Providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cataract and other eye surgeries. Dr. Green uses advanced diagnostic tools like OCT imaging, visual field testing, fundus photography, and corneal topography to ensure precise evaluation and treatment.

Education and Training

Dr. Green earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, graduating cum laude from Arizona State University, and an Associate Degree in General Sciences from Glendale Community College, where he was on the Dean’s List. He graduated salutatorian from Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming.

During his clinical training, Dr. Green completed rotations at leading facilities, including the Midwestern University Eye Institute, the Eye Centers of South Florida, White River Junction VA Medical Center, and Edwin Y Endo, OD & Associates. These experiences allowed him to gain expertise in primary care, ocular disease management, emergency eye care, and pre- and post-operative surgical support.

Dr. Green while attending Midwestern University also contributed to research comparing eye movement stability in Division 1 collegiate baseball players using Tracking Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy (TSLO)

Born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming, Dr. Green enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, multiple sports, time with friends and family, and is passionate about helping his community maintain healthy vision.
