Clinical Expertise
Dr. Frank provides comprehensive medical and refractive eye care with a special interest in dry eye management, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, surgical co-management, contact lenses, urgent/emergency eye care, and geriatric care. He believes in a team-based approach, where the patient is at the center of the team working with their healthcare providers to achieve shared health goals.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Frank earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology from the University of New England, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He gained early experience in ophthalmology working as a medical assistant for ophthalmologists before attending Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry.
Accolades
As a student, Dr. Frank was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society, graduated with honors of clinical excellence in Primary Care Optometry and Low Vision Rehabilitation, was a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and represented the profession nationally as a Trustee for the American Optometric Student Association. Professionally, Dr. Frank has served the Arizona Optometric Association, Maine Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and graduated from the American Optometric Association Leadership Institute.
Personal Interests
Born and raised in Aroostook County, Maine, Dr. Frank enjoys traveling, hiking, sci-fi novels and movies, and exotic cars.
