James Flores, O.D.

Dr. James Flores was born and raised in Arizona and has spent more than 36 years providing optometric care in Tucson. He provides full-scope primary eye care with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and pre- and post-surgical care. After graduating from the University of Arizona, where he majored in chemistry and minored in psychology, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Flores, who is fluent in Spanish as well as English, is a member of the Southern Arizona Optometric Society. He is truly grateful to his patients for allowing him to be a small part of their lives. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Flores enjoys his time with his wife, Beth, his daughter, Alicia, and his son-in-law, Fernando. Dr. Flores plays classical and jazz guitar at Canyon Ranch Resort. He also likes to play golf, a sport in which, he admits, he’s probably not as proficient as he believes.
